Energy efficiency
The Government has a target that all fuel-poor homes should be at least a band C on the energy efficiency scale by 2030. The energy performance of a property is rated A to G, with A being the best performing and G being the least. In 2023, Keniston completed its energy performance surveys. The purpose of this was to identify the correct energy performance of your property and to enable Keniston to build up a data base and forward plan our improvement works.

While there may be recommendations for your individual property, Keniston will need to prioritise work on properties in bands E and F within our works programs over the coming years.
